Overview of the park

Here is an over view takin from the gate. On the left is the big part of the pond and you can see were the wild grass is growing and Pa and Rosa (me) and Skib (my Hubby) were talking about putting the kid's ball field by the grass. Would like to have input from any one who might have a better idea of were to put it. :-)

Second pond

This little pond has a natural spring going into it and is connected to the big pond. Further down below is were we will be irrigating the crops. This will all be done by gravity we wont have to use elictricity or pumps. We will be getting a tractor in there soon so we can level the land and make rows so the litttle ditch can drain down the rows.

Picnic Area

This is our little picnic area. Can't wait to plant grass here.
Plus a little play ground for the youngsters. We also want to do a camping area here as well.

We are still in the process of clearing the land. And building the bridge. Soon we will be able to plant some fruit trees.

Shauna and Ethan's youngest son (Ethan) playing by the pond.

Lamont Black (aka Pa) is doing great on getting equipment here so we can clear the land. We have all been chipping in on the fuel to keep the equipment running. Pa's son-in laws and nephews have been working hard to clear the land and build. Were excited as a whole family to be working together to accomplish something that every one will enjoy from years to come.

Billy- Skibs brother is helping pull some brush and trees out of the way.

James, Dad and Skeeter all helped move out trees along the dam in the trackhoe.
They ran the cat almost all day. We were able to do a lot of clearing and setting up for the orchard.

Progress

Our Cute Little Bridge.

Finally a family Blog!!! We are so excited to finally have this blog started so that our family can be connected on what is going on and the things we are doing!! We hope to share the things that are happening in the canyon. We are so thankful to technology for allowing us to create something like this so that we can watch the progress of fun projects that are happening within our family. We have already put some pictures up of the Canyon and the progress so far. Enjoy!
